Training Venue Change 28 & 30 October 08!

We normally train at Horfield Parish Church Hall however for the week starting Monday 27 October 2008 we are training at Horfield United Reformed Church, on Tuesday 28 October 2008 and Thursday 30 October 2008.

Horfield United Reformed Church is also known as Whitefield Memorial Tabernacle, 139 Muller Road, Horfield, BS7 9RB

Goodbye Jo!

Everyone at Bristol Shotokan Karate Club would like to wish Jo Georgious all the best on his return to Greece after training with us for the last few years!

July Grading Successes!

Congratulations go to the following who all passed their red belts, 8th kyu:

Sarah, Greg, Sarah, and also Sam.

Chris, Melanie, and Craig who passed brown belt, 3rd kyu, James and Mickey who passed 2nd kyu, and Lisa who passed 1st kyu!

Thanks go to Sensei Poynton who took the training session and grading.

Finally, on Sunday, Sensei Will Skinner went to the training and grading at Egham Leisure Centre, and passed 2nd Dan!!

Also Yuki, who took his grading at Abingdon recently, and passed 2nd kyu.

July Grading at Imperial

On Saturday, 26 July 2007 Imperial SKC are host a training and grading session with Sensei Bob Poynton.

Arrive at 12.00 for the Training Session which will be followed by the grading.

Goodbye Rob!

Rob has been training with us for the last 9 months and is now returning to Australia.

Rob said
